  i have been lurking in this site for more than three years now.

  i want to thank the people who work to maintain this forum, for as in the the case of hundreds of others in need of help, this site has been key in my exit from the wt slavery and emotional recovery.

  it was in this site that i learned about ray franz.

  They where represented by other associations. When the WTS says that they are not involved with the UN, they are right. The Watch Tower, Bible and Tract Society is not involved. The association of European Jehovah's Witnesses is involved, as you read in the UN document

  Striking analogy, Sunspot. The conceited arrogance and blatant double standards are so in our faces that we often fail to recognize them for what they really are.

  Likewise, I have indeed never heard any explanation for this moral distortion you mention here.

  I could never understand how you weren't allowed to store up your own blood because it had to be spilled out on the earth. Your own blood didn't constitute any of the health risks they were always touting about either. Yet you were allowed to use 99% of the fractions from somebody else's blood bank donation. No blood needed to spilled there...

  Yeah, perhaps the WTS is already teaming up with the UN in order to practice for paradise. Heck, with all the outsourcing that's going on they might just as well have booked 'm as subcontractors after Armageddon (of course, new light might indicate that it already happened invisibly in 1975).

  Which covert corporations/associations are they presently deploying? Do you have any proof to back your statements up?

  They were never even able to keep pace with the truth from the onset. The Judge was on the run from The Pastor's "past truths" and misconceptions from the word go. If there were ever one who developed the concept of "time to change" to perfection, it must have been Rutherfraud. In fact, the WTS has been in a state of flash light flux like a spinning lighthouse trying to keep up with "present truth" - not to mention "future truth." If the absolute truth had been your main commodity for over one hundred years, do you think any amount of damage control would suffice if caught covering-up cooking the books for all those years? Arthur Anderson, Enron, WorldCom - giants can fall. To think that all this time they were poking their noses in UN affairs trying to watch out for the fall of Babylon the Great, while in doing so they were actually speeding up their own demise. Ironic how Russel's pyramid schemes turned out to be just that - as well as a self-fulfilling prophesy - the only one he got right...

  Great comments here. I recently lost my scales as well - kind of like a secular anointing. My head is still spinning. As soon as it stops I'll start experimenting with the "self harm" suggestions.
  Q, I think all the stuff you mention can be found in any secular self help book and is practised/professed by many religions and atheists alike. In fact, they are the very preconditions that drive most, if not any functioning society and economy. To a certain extent, they were also professed to great disadvantage by Mao, Stalin and Hitler. If based on a lie, they become mere hollow phrases in a conditional sales system that sucks you dry. So called "absolute truth" has been used to debase people into almost anything - think of the Holocaust and the Chinese Cultural revolution as extreme examples. So called "truth" also made us act as pawns in game that could in the end not stand up to scrutiny, so we were unable to defend even our benign and positive actions and values of many years after - and only because - the bottom dropped from under the premise. Most of the people who fared well in the WTS system would have done so anyway or maybe even better, in that case having been able to expand their talents and spiritual horizon, furthering their education and career instead of putting their lives on hold to some extent. Yes we were attracted by ideals that many people would be attracted to also - but the premise was indeed a lie that corrupted and violated the very qualities it disseminated. I never met a true bOrg sales man that I liked. But "salt of the earth" indeed seems to have come of it, if you go by the posters in this forum -come OUT of it that is. " Third Eye Open, Welcome to the board and congratulations! Anyone who deprograms on entering his/her twenties should be exempted from the self chastising initiation. I agree with you. How some people can routinely and actively regurgitate the spiritual soup kitchen recipe well into their adulthood is an interesting phenomenon.

  hello friends, i would like to hear some stories of becoming anointed.

  i have been for 5 years now.. been a christian for 26 years.

  i dropped out of the watchtower in september and am learning in leaps and bounds since i left with my new eyes.

  I have read all the heartfelt and sincere postings here with a great deal of interest.
  
  Earlier on in this thread, I put the question as to what "anointing" would entail and signify.
  
  I have learnt a lot from the openness, candor and effort with which many of you have tried to shed light on it, and have shared your innermost feelings and views - especially LT.
  
  However, gradually I felt any insight into "anointment" slipping away from me as well.
  
  I am not anointed - somehow, I just do or cannot see. In the end it is all too esoteric-speak to me.
  
  Anointing has bothered me a great deal ever since a very trusted and close JW friend (sister) of mine - about ten years older than me - professed to be anointed. Apparently, she'd struggled with it for many years until she somehow "conceded" to it. That is why this - as a 17 year old - caused me a great deal of distress at the time. Repeatedly I asked a relatively young anointed CO about it. He basically told me to get my act together and "go for a walk in the woods" - "take a hike" is more how it felt to me. I was none the wiser for it - ever. So people that disseminate the teachings of the WTS, which seem to oppose those of Christ, are anointed, as well as those that seem to be anointed AFTER they leave the twisted WTS belief system.

  as well as people like Robert King AKA e-watchman with their claims of uniqueness. Russel claimed it, Rutherford, Fred Franz, the GB, and some dislikable DO I know who is on the take from older sisters. Nothing good has come of it. Christ's brothers were supposed to be united in a congregation according to the Bible. Where is that congregation? As I understand, they are part of a spectrum consisting of all kinds of different people.
  
  Maybe too, I myself have in some way recently been anointed, after leaving the WTS cult after 35 years. With that, I mean that within an extremely short time, the scales seem to have miraculously fallen off my eyes to SEE the bOrg for what it is. My head is still spinning because of it. What has caused this though is that for some reason neurons have started firing in my BRAIN. I have for once started to use my BRAIN and listen to what my heart had been trying to convey to me for many years.
  
  Therefore I will keep trusting my brain for once and listen to my heart and, for the moment decide against the born again experience. If there are no special castes and classes in Christ, why are only some of the many Christians chosen as anointed? In my view this is tantamount to designating all other sincere Christians as "so-called Christians-in-name-only". Accepting this view would lead me back to where I started: WTS elitism exegeses. My brain is what finally set my free from the Chosen few and my brain tells my not to go with the other chosen. I'm afraid I have never seen much good come of it.
